BINGO at the Turning Stone Casino in Oneida, NY
Cost: $15/person Our bus leaves at 8:30 a.m. and returns approximately 5:00 p.m. You will receive $15.00 in Bingo Bucks to use as you choose, and a $5 meal coupon. A Gambling Package is available for those individuals who do not want to play Bingo. The bus will depart from the Village Municipal Parking Lot behind St. Francis Catholic Church. 2011 Bingo Dates: Mondays April 4, May 2, June 6, July 11, August 1, September 12 and October 3. Registration forms are also available at the Town Hall or call the office for more information.
Overnight Trip to Cape May
Tuesday September 20 – Friday September 23 Run – don’t walk – to the Town Hall to sign up for our only overnight expedition!!! Jump aboard our motor coach for a magnificent fall voyage. We have arranged for an exciting four-day fun filled fall adventure to Cape May, New Jersey. Spend three nights at the Marquis de Lafayette; a grand seaside hotel of Cape May which overlooks the ocean. We will tour Physick Estate, take a trolley ride of the historic district featuring some of the Cape’s Victorian Mansions, hop aboard a narrated dolphin sightseeing cruise, attend a dinner theatre and much more! Wednesday July 6, 2011 Cost: Free School Bus Trip- Open to all adults Make a stop at Hobby Lobby and then continue on to Great Northern Mall. Lunch on OWN. Mall has Sears, CJ Banks, Macy’s, Bath & Body Works, and much more! Lilacs & Cabaret
Tuesday May 17, 2011 Cost $60/ person Registration Begins: February 14, 2011 Registration Deadline: April 1, 2011 Departure Time: 7:00 a.m. Return Time: Approximately 5:00 p.m. Enjoy a guided tour of Highland Park in Rochester for the Lilac Festival. We will spend about an hour at the festival to walk among the 1200 to 1400 lilac bushes with about 500 varieties. Benches are there for those not wanting to do a lot of walking. We will then board the bus to enjoy a guided tour of the city of Rochester, highlighting the historical and cultural aspects of Rochester as it evolved from the “Flour to Flower” city. Along the way we will stop at High Falls/Brown Race Historic District to see the 96’falls that powered the city over 100 years when it was the center of neighborhoods and museum areas. Lunch will be at the Crescent Beach Hotel located on the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario; your will dine enjoying the “Best view in Rochester”. After lunch we will be treated to “Singing with the Stars” a fast paced journey from the past to the present with Sam& Nanci of Viva Voca”. You will be delighted with music and comedy for the 1930’s right on up to the 90’s, including songs from Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Natalie Cole and many more! Taughannock Farms Inn
Wednesday June 15, 2011 Cost: $62/person Registration Begins: March 1, 2011 Registration Deadline: April 29, 2011 Departure Time: 8:00 a.m. Return Time: Approximately 6:30 p.m. Our first stop of the day will be at the Paleontological Research Institution & its Museum of the Earth in Ithaca for a journey from the past into the future! There you will see a 500-foot mural, Rock of Ages Sands of Time, depicting fossils from the dawn of microscopic life to the present. Marvel at the skeleton of the Hyde Park Mastodon and much more. We will then depart for lunch at the Taughannock Farms INN, with an exceptional view of Cayuga Lake. Along the scenic ride home we will stop to view the Taughannock Falls, with a drop of 215 feet, it’s higher than Niagara Falls. Our final stop will be to visit the Cobblestone Winery for a tasting. Tea Tasting at Yorkshire Hall
Wednesday, July 20, 2011 Cost: $60/ person Registration Begins: May 1, 2011 Registration Deadline: June 24, 2011 Departure Time: 7:45 a.m. Return Time: Approximately 8:45 p.m. Arrive in LeRoy and meet our guide for the Underground Railroad Step-on-tour. The guide on this seventeen–mile tour shares stories of the brave people and everyday places in LeRoy that was instrumental in helping escaped slaves into Canada. We will enjoy lunch at the D&R Depot Restaurant. After lunch we will visit the Country Cottage-just exploring these series of shops is a treat. Each cottage is situated amidst meticulously crafted flower and water gardens. Each cottage contains unique country gifts, baked goods and unusual items. Then we are off to the Yorkshire Hall for a Tea Tasting. Sample unique and delicious teas and nibble on fancy tea sandwiches, sweets and other treats. While tea and fascinating tea facts are being served get ready for laughter! Lord George Betancourt; Clive, the zany butler and Gabby, the usually mute maid makes mistakes-until they all burst into song. At the end of the visit you make take your souvenir Teacup and saucer home with you! On our way home we will stop at Oliver’s Candies for shopping on your own or you may wish to purchase ice cream at the Ice Cream Shoppe. Culinary Institute of America
Wednesday, October 12, 2011 Cost: $75/person Registration Begins: July 1, 2011 Registration Deadline: September 2, 2011 Departure Time: 6:50 a.m. Return Time: Approximately 8:00 p.m. We will depart from Marcellus for Hyde Park, New York. We will arrive at the Culinary Institute and enjoy lunch at a restaurant to be announced. The Culinary Institute of America, is the world's premier culinary college. With alumni chefs like Sara Moulton, Michael Symon, Anthony Bourdain, and Cat Cora who are all stars of the food network. Tomorrow's future chefs will prepare and serve your meal under the guidance of the CIA’s world-class chef-instructors. This trip will offer a memorable experience via restaurants, retail stores, and tours. After lunch enjoy some free time exploring the Culinary Institute – don’t forget to visit the bakery and take a sweet treat home with you. There will also be a guided tour of the Culinary Institute Campus. We will depart after the tour and make a stop on your own for dinner. |
